I have severe sleep apnea and I've used a CPAP for 2 years now. It's made a huge difference in my health.

I think that I have had sleep apnea for many years, but were not diagnosed until 2015 since when I have slept with a ResMed S9 and ResMed Mirage Quattro, Full Face Mask.
I too am extremely happy with my CPAP - it gives me my life back - and makes me able to live during daytimes.

I have severe sleep apnea for about 5 years and am extremely happy with my Resmed S9 machine set to CPAP instead of APAP. I also have interstitial lung disease. I have probably needed the sleep machine for most of my life. After I had a TIA (transient ischemic attack) and was hospitalized, my hematologist sent me to a neurologist for suspected sleep apnea. LOVE my machine, and I'm pretty sure it has kept me from a stroke.

Yes, and I have used a ResMed S9 with great success the last 1 years - but I'm sure that I needed it for many years.

Yes, I have sleep apnea. My airway is too small, supposedly. I cannot tolerate the CPAP machine as I wake up and I can't breathe out...it's not a case of too much pressure to overcome either. :( I use and oral device but it doesn't work that well.

I've also saw that NOS2 can be related to Pulmonary Hypertension -which can also be related to sleep apnea... I was diagnosed with PH soon after being diagnosed with apnea. It's under control now due to my use of a bipap machine.
