  • I have numerous homozygous SNP's for MEFV(7). Does this mean I could possibly have Familial Mediterranean Fever?

Hi all. I know this thread is dated but I am hoping you are still actively checking your accounts. I believe my daughter has Mediterranean Fever. I have just learned I have a different father and we are Lumbee (Croatan) Indiant. This is a common ailment in that genetic pool. Can you help me as far as where do we go from here to find more answers. She is 17 and started having these symptoms when she was 14. We have run every test known to ma and still no answers. Thank you.

Yes, low grade fever, joint pain/ swelling that resolves and returns later. Extreme exhaustion.
      All 7 markers are homozygous.

It could mean you are a carrier. Do you have symptoms? Fevers, joint pain, stomach issues like pains and diarrhea, extreme exhaustion?
